The French Vanity Fair has released a list of ‘Les 50 Français Les Plus Influents Du Monde’ or the 50 Most Influential French In The World. Well this year one perfumer has made the cut.

The perfumer is … can you guess? I’m sure the photo has steered you in the right direction.

Yes it’s Francis Kurkdjian, coming in at no 31. This is not a huge surprise to me. He’s a talented perfumer, crafting a modern aspirational brand that feels like it has the makings of a contemporary yet classic perfume house. And let’s not forget this is the man responsible for Absolue Pour Le Soir, surely one of the best perfumes of all time.
