A new trailer for the upcoming Season 5 of Game of Thrones has been unveiled at the Spring Forward Apple event. The clip can also be downloaded in full from iTunes.
In this trailer Danearys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) takes centre stage and seems ready to take on her foes – all of them. We also see the dragons have grown. Of course there’s the usual slaughter and a bit of sex.
The upcoming season will feature new characters Doran Martell (Alexander Siddig), and High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Plus New Zealander’s will no doubt be aware that Keisha Castle Hughes (Whale Rider) has a role as Obara Sand. Some characters will be absent from Season 5 including Bran Stark (Isaac Hampstead), Hodor (Kristian Nairn) and Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick).

Sigh! I read the books. That ruined the series for me. I would advise leaving the books alone until after the series is over.

Hi Azar. I’ve already read the books – they took me an eternity to get through! Quite keen to get his next book though, if he’s ever going to get to it.
