This week the trailer for  Game of Thrones Season 5 and new pictures were released.  Let’s just say I can’t wait for the show to hurry up and start.  I’ve read all the books and I just want to see more action up on the screen. It’s also been revealed that the next book in the series, The Winds of Winter from George RR Martin will not be coming out this year and no official date has been set but hopefully it will be in 2016 although there’s no guarantee that will happen.  There have always been long gaps between releases and the last book to hit the shelves,  A Dance With Dragons came out in 2011.  Personally I’m in no hurry to read The Winds of Winter anytime soon as getting through those hefty tomes was a little gruelling.  But it’s all getting a little close for comfort in regards to the TV series catching up to the last book in the series.

Anyhow, if you haven’t seen the trailer already, here it is.  It’s looking VERY good with a slightly unhinged sounding TV On The Radio‘s cover of Bowie‘s Heroes playing in the background.
